ED got me dancing, gawd damn lol
Same!
Creepy Nuts - Nighttime Lulaby is the song
Gives me Itaden Deities Op vibes. And hey its the same studio too
Yeah , mutual feeling friend πππ
This author did Dagashi Kashi as well. The manga is great, so another one I've been promoting with high a.s.s. expectations for as well. And the other series I want some ecchi figurines for as well. Despite the age of the protagonist, he's not very teen like, but there are some ecchi moments. Also, one of my favorite traps are in this series.

Himiko Toga just got herself bitten by a Vampire !

Me too, been trying to tell everyone I know to watch it. Love the manga, so glad it got an anime release.
Ok so it makes sense now that her eyes art is similar to hotaru and mc is just coconut alternate world
I THOUGHT I recognized something about this! Thank you for that!...Aww man, I miss Dagashi Kashi! What a chill anime.
I do try to help my fellow weebs. As the Anime pope, I will always try to help, whether it's helping them figure out who made what prior work, my honest recommendation, or even helping them be Isekai'd.
I wanna be isekaied dad
Sweet I was wondering why the art looked familiar before was gonna look it up. The more you know.
Both FMC's have pink hair with weird eyes while both MC's have same style black hair..
That day isn't far when the EDs will feel like a bigger deal than the Op.
the day has already came
Bro you are everywhere.i see you at every anime....
That ending song sounds so silly I'm gonna skip it everytime
It sounds good what songs r u even listening about
so to my fellow anime community, if you have the option to become a vampire will you take it? will you say yes? in my case probably not, I prefer werewolves
I would be Vampire bcz wolfs don't fly and I would also get eternal life
I do love the night and the really chill people but being a vampire is also not good
They both have their drawbacks and their pluses, we don't need to get into them all here, but I will point out that living forever physically would get pretty old if you had to stay on Earth forever, now a free-roaming SPACE Vampire might not be so bad, you'd have tons of worlds to explore and could potentially find ways to transform your condition.
Additionally, you'd have to always avoid sunlight, so that would be a hassle, and the usual human passions, sex, drugs, power, money, etc.... would get stale after a few lifetimes, you'd need new experiences, territories, and ambitions, plus new (and old) knowledge to acquire or your body would start to become a living prison cell for your mind.
Not for my melanated (black) vampire character(s), sun is no problem, in fact is one way to feed their body. Having all the pros of vampires and none of the weaknesses, kind of like Blade.
Hi Drix, (cool name btw, I dig it)
So, just to clarify, I was speaking about the generally accepted popular stereotypical vampire tropes.
If we dig into historical data and mythologies about vampires, the origin
of the vampire mythos is often credited to Serbian folklore, (do note
that Serbians aren't known for their dark skin tone either) and in that
folklore vampires weren't even actually hurt by the sun, they were just
less powerful during the day, but otherwise unharmed by sunlight. In
fact, one of the main "OG Vampires" Bram Stoker's Count Dracula who was
inspired by Vlad Tepes aka Vlad the Impaler, wasn't hurt by the sun
either, he was just bit weaker during the daytime and couldn't use some
of his powers.
Being seriously affected by sunlight is a more
modern addition that first started gaining momentum in the old silent
Nosferatu movie....you can look all this up yourself, so I won't
continue on this "vein" of discussion. XD
So basically, Blade just more or less took this part of vampire lore to heart rather than the "death by sunlight" thingy that never made any sense to me. All living creatures benefit from sunlight, even moonlight is just reflected sunlight, so if vampires are destroyed by sunlight, they would also be destroyed by moonlight in a way.
You bring up a great point! I would say it basically "riffed" on a number of things in order to make a more interesting story line, and they did a good job too IMO. I personally enjoyed the Blade trilogy, but it wasn't the first to feature the whole day walking vampire idea among other things....
Actually, if you want to get into semantics based on current works, there are so many divergences at this point in the mythos/culture that you'll find a supporter for most any vampire theory someone might want to throw out there.
As for me personally, while I get what Drix is saying, I
have to respectfully disagree that "melanated" vampires in general would be immune to sunlight, as my take on it is that the reason vampires are harmed by sunlight is due to sunlight carrying a Divine energy and thus an antithesis of their general make-up, specifically due they're being "undead".
Remember that at their core, vampires are supposed to be essentially parasitic, meaning they only live through taking the life force of others. So, just like many living things they are taking in second-hand life force. It's similar to how people aren't capable of the same type of photosynthesis that plants are, and while plants utilize sunlight or light as part of their food specifically, (though people do need the sun to produce certain function, hormones, and vitamin synthesis etc...within our bodies) we can get nourishment by eating them or other animals etc... It's not a perfect analogy, but you get the jist....
As for moonlight, I would expect that moonlight being reflected sunlight would be similar to the second hand life force they draw through blood sucking.
So that brings us back to the older mythos that Divine energy destroys the undead and that the Sun is a representation of the Divine and as such is my guess on where the culture of the sun damaging Vampires stems from.
Again, this is a very loose and quite insufficient explanation, if you want to get into the genuine metaphysics of it, that's a MUCH longer discussion.
Anywho, I'm inclined to disagree with Drix if he is suggesting that it's the same as some kind of super sunburn that higher skin melanin concentration would protect from.
As far as for Blade...
well it's been a long time since I read or watched anything of the trilogy, but if I recall correctly, technically, he's not actually "undead".
In the trilogy he is classified as being a living being and he is only "half vampire" aka "Dhampir" which is where he derives his immunities from. So he wouldn't fall under the classification of a true vampire and therefore, not really an appropriate citing for the case of dark skinned vampires anyways.
Don't think me close-minded however, while I CURRENTLY don't feel that skin tone or melanin content is a determining factor for Vampire Solar Immunity, that doesn't mean I'm not willing to change my mind.
If someone produces/cites some viable references or sources that supports the claim, I would be more than happy to review them with an open mind. :)
I see so you're a furry
Probably never unless if im at my lowest point in my life
it really depends on if a werewolf was accessible; im just saying, i would prefer werewolf too, but if beggers can't be choosers then vampires fine.
Is the Ed a Japanese rap?
Yeah it's so funny
Also those tummy animation, man a lot of this season anime has good animation what a good day to be alive.
There's so many delicious looking cover picture this season while me I'm still trying to catch-up
A vampire that sucks blood but doesn't turn them into vampires only if they love the vampire
I agree, the ED IS groovy!
At least the author used proper physics and had her match her speed to his when saving him...from her pushing him. If she did what Superman does, in real life, that would create 3 equal but separate parts of a person.
True. Invincible series showed exactly that.
That's a series I plan on watching. It's on my list.
Trust me when I say this.
Gonna blow your mind!!!
The story and plot looks really chill
true..the transition to ed with that flying scene..it was really good!!
Top tier vampere waifu you can hang out at night with
Looks like ima turn into a vampire too xD
Man vampire waifus are just too much!!!
Prime example: Kiss-shot Acerola-Orion-heart-under-blade

Sophie Twilight
most of them are legal lolis... maybe not Irina. They can turn me into a vampire.
Sneaking out in the middle of the night, worrying about whether the sound of the front door closing would be too loud, or that your phone buzzing might mean an angry call from your parents is so relatable. Used to do that all the time to hit the net cafes when I was a student, and I actually did get caught once. That night did not end well for me, lol...
Yep, just a mosquito bite...nothing to worry about here. ^^;
OP is decent, but that ED? Groovy af!
